(Um, I realize I may be a few days late in posting this, and everyone in the world had seen it already but me. But see, I had to be a single parent over the weekend, and that cut my Internet worship time to a minimum. Sry. I promise to do better next time. ...you should spend them watching the following video. It's not Better Than Ezra, I promise. (Though there is nothing wrong with another BTE video. Am I right? Really, AM I RIGHT?) No, it's Will Ferrell (whose humor I can only take in small doses, so 7 minutes is perfect) and Dave Grohl (who personifies awesome) doing a fantabulous rendition of "Leather and Lace".

Life completion is totally overrated.

So, yeah, I didn't get to make my bacon cups. YET. This is not a shocker - not to myself, and not to those who know me well. It's gotten to the point where it's passe to make jokes about it, because it's just so well known that when I say I want to do something NOW, I really mean I'd like to do it sometime in the next year. It's just the way I roll. It's like maybe I prefer the anticipation of the thing I want to actually making it happen. How 'bout that? Surely there is some mental pathology involved, and some armchair psychologist lurking out there is welcome to pop up and tell me all about it.

And actually, the reason I didn't make any bacon cups is because we had quite a busy weekend. Birthday parties galore! Including Riley's awesome 3rd birthday party, which was awesome mostly for the fact that I didn't have to clean up ONE DAMN THING. There were other awesome things about it too, though, and I'll get to all that in its own post.

Also! I became close personal friends with my camera again, after a long dry spell without one another, and I couldn't be happier about it. Lots of pictures this weekend, including some "official" type stuff for a friend's birthday party that I think turned out well. I'll have to pop them up in Lightroom and have a look-see, and when I do, you will too! Yay!

But since I don't have any pictures to share yet, and (unless you are a more fantastic writer than myself) blogs without visuals get boooorrrring, here's something that made me happy today. It's a live Better Than Ezra clip that I stumbled across, and the camera work is a bit iffy, but I think the audio is not terrible compared to many YouTube concert videos out there. Well. My hole punch just broke, so it looks like my hole punching and ribbon threading hours are numbered.  Or, officially over, for now. There is a piece of the hole punch that just flew right off, thank God it didn't hit me in the eye, and I heard it hit the carpet-protector part of the floor but can't find it anywhere.
